Food Court Logo Design

This concept was created for a large-scale refurbishment proposal for one of the UK’s leading property companies.

The food court’s central location inspired the name ‘Junction,’ reflecting its role as a hub for meeting, dining, and leisure. The logo design draws on the idea of a junction, using bold slab serif typography and intersecting lines.

My restaurant experience influenced the divided sections in the logo, mirroring restaurant layouts.

The retro styling was a bold departure from the site’s previous design, aligning with the client’s vision for something striking. The colour palette suits the food industry perfectly.

Moodboard

Most of these images were sourced from Pinterest, Dribbble and Behance.

Food Photography Styling

I wanted to include some examples of food photography and styling in my concept to show how this would work alongside supporting media and highlight the type of food that would be served here.

Since this would focus on takeaway and street food, the examples I chose needed to reflect that. I also think these tie in really well with the colour palette and logo design.

App Opening Screen Mockup

This is a simple mockup showing the logo alongside the photography in a modern setting.

The concept is designed as an opening screen for an app or webpage, where customers could order food directly from their seats and have it delivered to them.
